Thank you, StacyC. :-) I wish you could have seen that cloud formation in person. It was amazing!

  2. Beautiful photos: your cats and your flower are just gorgeous. Is this last photo for real? Wow!!!

    • Janice Daquila-Pardo says:

Thanks, NancyLee! Yes, the last photo was really what the sky looked like. It was sublime (and very fortunate timing for my photo day)!

  3. Lovely photos! That cloud is amazing! I love the grouping of items in the second last pic, too. Looks like a nice evening. :)

    • Janice Daquila-Pardo says:

I was so lucky to look out and see that cloud formation just on the evening I was chronicling my day, wasn’t I? Yes, it was a very nice night. Thanks Kim. :-)

  4. I am a cat lover too and your ginger cat’s eyes are just beautiful – lovely photos. Thanks for sharing.

    • Janice Daquila-Pardo says:

  5. love the photos, what are you growing, looks like basil to me?

    • Janice Daquila-Pardo says:

Hi Jane! Yes, that’s basil. It’s coming back on its own in the container I grew it in last summer, which thrills me. Thanks for looking. :-)

    • Janice Daquila-Pardo says:

Hi Carrie! Thanks for your comment. Wasn’t that night’s sky gorgeous? And who doesn’t love Redbox, right? ;-)

  7. Your two kitties are exactly like my two kitties (before they passed on). I felt like I was looking at photos of my own pets. Beautiful pictures.

    • Janice Daquila-Pardo says:

Thank you, Margie. I’m so sorry that you no longer have your beloved cats. What were their names? Ours are Tristan and Oliver.

  10. These are all lovely – I have just recently seen The King’s Speech – what a wonderful movie, hope you liked it!

    • Janice Daquila-Pardo says:

Hi Amy. We thoroughly enjoyed The King’s Speech. I have been a fan of both Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush for a long time, but I liked it even more than I thought I would! Thanks for stopping by. :-)

    • Janice Daquila-Pardo says:

Hi there, Melissa. :-) Thanks for peeking at my photos and leaving a comment. It actually was a beautiful day; it started with a very light rain and ended with that amazing sky. I couldn’t have asked for more!

  14. Every one of your photos are a story in itself! The food looks yummy! Looks like you have a large family?? You kitties are soooo pretty (I love animals), the hibiscus and herb pics are gorgeous! I could go on and on! TFS your day!

    • Janice Daquila-Pardo says:

Hi Cheryl. Thank you so much for your kind words about my photos. No, no; that isn’t my family! My husband (the one in a blue shirt and tan pants with his back to the camera) and I went to a lunchtime meetup at a nearby restaurant to hear a presentation on marketing. Those were some of the other attendees. I will be sure to tell Tristan and Oliver that you said they were pretty. :-) Thanks for visiting my blog and taking the time to comment!

Hi Anne! Oh, I know. I can’t wait for my plants to get a little farther along so I can start plucking their luscious leaves. :-) I do love using my iPad to work on my blog. It’s a good thing. Thanks so much for stopping by!
